Shelter and Form

The craft of making has always informed my sense of Architecture.

I treat sculpture as an exploration of architectural and spatial form to create meaning with space and new experiences for people.

Included with the focus on craftsmanship of making is the creation of shelter. Shelter is the essence of architectural form and function, yet the primal elements of shelter retain a reliance on pure form.

Pure form is a response to a site condition, a purpose and a material. The elegance of the detail is a primary concern for the construction process and the final experience of pure form.
